The apartment was beautifully designed, providing a comfortable and luxurious stay with all the necessary facilities. The hosts were welcoming and ensured that we had everything we needed. The location was ideal, with easy access to stunning walks and hikes.
The wifi occasionally went off, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.

The property had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was convenient for exploring the surrounding area, with shops and attractions just a short drive away. One of the best aspects was the private garden area, which provided a peaceful and relaxing space to unwind.
Being a hotel that advertises itself as a holiday destination over the Christmas period, I expected a bit more effort in creating a festive ambiance. It would have been nice to see some twinkling lights or a decorated Christmas tree to add to the holiday spirit.

Had a great stay at the Lazy Fish property. The bed was so comfortable, we had the best night sleep ever. Bath time was so relaxing, in the beautiful bath. The location was perfect, peaceful and secluded. Shops only a five minute drive, Bassenthwaite lake ten minutes away. Rachel and Mark are great hosts, nothing is a bother to them and have great knowledge of the area. Thanks for a great stay!
Would recommend this hotel.

The lack of mobile phone signal, although the wifi worked perfectly fine.

We had an amazing city break in Cockermouth. The hotel was cozy and comfortable with all the creature comforts of home. The bath was great for a long soak after a busy day and the owners had even left robes out with the towels which was a lovely idea. The place was absolutely spotless and very well presented. The view from the room was spectacular, with a narrow lake visible from the window and mountains from the patio area. It was a fantastic bonus to be offered a flexible check-out time on the last day.
The only downfall was the intermittent wifi signal, although everything else was fabulous. The lack of mobile phone signal was not the property's fault, but it was a bit inconvenient.

The accommodation was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a private garden area with a BBQ, perfect for enjoying the sunny weather. the information pack provided was a great help, with details about local walks, takeaways, and places to visit.
The WiFi signal was a problem at times, making it difficult to make phone calls or access the internet. this was a minor issue and actually allowed us to have a peaceful break without constant phone notifications.
